cRAFTS MADE AT THE DROP INS HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR THE WOMEN'S GROUP AND THE DESTITUTION CAMPAIGN AT THE PORTALS CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAYRE.
Salim has been really busy making necklaces which have a shell on them for good luck. He aims to make a C.D of a song he has recorded to sell alongside them in the future. The funds for these necklaces go straight to our destitution fund which funds food parcels, bus tickets and other basic support for destitute asylum seekers.
The ladies at the Tarfside community flat have also been busy making amazing key rings and jewellery from polymer clay. The funds from selling these items will go towards the women's group.
We had a great day at the Christmas craft fayre and sold a lot of our goods. Hopefully we may be able to sell them online in the future! We will also be at Elderpark library on the 3rd December, and Cardonald library on 5th December.
